Classic Banana Bread Recipe

Enjoy a treat at home with this tasty and easy to make Banana Bread recipe. Add nuts for an extra crunch and flavor.


3 Ripe Bananas, mashed
1 Cup White Sugar
1 Egg
1/4 Cup Butter, melted
1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds, etc.), crushed, optional


1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2. In a bowl mix together bananas, nuts, sugar, egg, and butter. In a second bowl mix flour and baking soda.

3. Stir flour and baking soda into banana mixture until just mixed. Stir in salt. Pour into loaf pan.

4. Bake for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.
