BBQ Veggie Burgers Recipe

A good burger is one of the best part of summer cooking. Enjoy this vegetarian option at your next BBQ!

Ingredients:

• 2 cans Black Beans, 15-oz., drained and rinsed
• 1/2 medium Yellow Onion, chopped
• 2 cloves Garlic, minced
• 1 large Egg
• 2 tbsp. Mayonnaise
• 3/4 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
• Kosher Salt, to taste
• Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste
• 4 Hamburger Buns

Preparation Instructions:

1). Add black beans, onion, and garlic to food processor and mix until finely chopped.

2). Add bean mixture to a large bowl and add egg, mayo, and panko. Mix well until fully combined and season with salt and pepper.

3). Form mixture into 4 patties and place in fridge until firm, 15 to 20 minutes.

4). Lightly oil BBQ grill and cook patties over medium heat. Cook until golden and warmed through, 5 to 7 minutes per side.
