If pasta is a favorite in your home, try this new recipe and enjoy the great nutrition of spinach.


12 Ounces Penne Pasta
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
6 Slices Cooked Bacon, chopped (optional)
2 Tbsp Garlic, minced
14.5 Ounces Canned Diced Tomatoes
1 Bunch Spinach, rinsed and torn into bite-size pieces.


1. Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil. Add penne to water and cook 8 to 10 minutes or until tender.

2. While pasta cooks, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a frying pan on medium heaat. Cook bacon in pan until brown and crisp. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, stir in tomatoes and cook until heated through.

3. Drain pasta over spinach so it is wilted. Transfer spinach and pasta to serving bowl, add remaining tbsp of olive oil and tomato/bacon mixture.

4. Serve and enjoy!
